Julie Dang is the author of the Ca Insider book series—Vietnam’s pioneering specialized publication collection devoted to systematical cultivation and preservation of professional coffee knowledge and insights. The series makes its debut with the edition “Sensory – Touching Coffee through All Senses”, an evocative exploration of coffee through the richness and nuance of the “awaken” human senses.
With over a decade of experience in consulting and training across the F&B and hospitality sectors, Julie Dang has established herself as a distinguised authority in Vietnam’s coffee and beverage industry. Her expertise bridges professional knowledge, sensory appreciation, and industry practice, contributing to the refinement and advancement of Vietnam’s coffee culture and standards.

- President of Global Coffee School (GCS) in Vietnam: Internationally recognized coffee educator and authorized trainer associated with leading global coffee organizations, including:
- International Judge & Coach: Has served in over 24 international coffee competitions across 10+ countries as Head Judge, Technical Judge, and Sensory Judge. Alongside judging, she actively coaches and mentors Vietnamese competitors for domestic and international specialty coffee and barista championships.
