Original UK 1973 pressing of Queen’s debut album on EMI (EMC 3006). This copy features the original “Deacon John” bass credit on the labels (later corrected on subsequent pressings), confirming an early first pressing run. Run-out matrices include YAX 4623-5 with “Blair Rules” hand-etched, indicating an early Chris Blair (Abbey Road) cut. Vinyl condition: Near Mint / Mint- (NM / NM-) The record has been carefully hand-cleaned and plays extremely well. Playback is clean and clear with only very occasional, minimal light pops, mainly noticeable in very quiet passages. No repeating clicks, no skips, no distortion. Overall an excellent-sounding copy and very hard to find in this condition. Sleeve condition: EX Original matte sleeve in excellent condition, showing minor ring wear mainly along the top edge, consistent with careful storage over time. No major flaws. A very well-preserved example of a highly collectible Queen first album, ideal for collectors and serious listeners. Ships securely from Spain. Happy to answer any questions.
