"Lightweight Taslan Ripstop" uses "KONBU(R)" from Komatsu Matere. It looks like a heavy cotton canvas, but it actually has excellent lightweight and tear strength, and is a series that features outdoor bags that make use of these characteristics.
KONBU(R) is named after the seaweed kombu because of its natural, dry texture. It has a firm hardness and stands on its own, and even tall tote bags can be made to stand up without sagging when a bottom gusset is added. It is a masterpiece that will surprise you with its lightness when you hold it. The fabric is also treated with a water-repellent finish.
This shoulder bag is easy to use in both the city and outdoors. It has a flap closure to protect the contents, and there is a zipper pocket on the flap. There are easy-access pockets on the left and right sides for a drink bottle or folding umbrella. The shoulder strap can be adjusted in one action and can be removed.
